Creating a new wallet

We see two possibilities. If we don't have any crypto wallet on MetaMask yet (our case), we choose the Create a Wallet option (1).

If we already have a wallet on MetaMask and don't want to create a new one, we choose the Import wallet option. To import a crypto wallet, we will need the 12 phrases we saved for setting it up.We will create a strong password (1). Such a password should contain at least 12 characters of upper and lower case letters, numbers, and special symbols like @, #, &, /, -, _, =, +, ), ?. We repeat password (2). Read the Terms of Use and check the box (3). To create our new crypto wallet, we click Create (4).

To see how the security of the MetaMask wallet works, we can watch a short video and read the information on the right side. If everything is clear, we click on Next (1).

Secret Recovery Phrase - one of the most important things about MetaMask crypto wallet. As you already know, these 12 words will be necessary for recovering the wallet (we can also use them when installing in another browser if we don't want to create a new wallet). We click on reveal secret words (1).

Now we see 12 words/phrases, which we write down (copy) in the exact order we see them. We must always keep this order. Never give them to anyone, don't disclose them - because thanks to them, your wallet can be accessed or recovered on MetaMask.
